The CitroŽn Berlingo is a luxury leisure activity van manufactured by the French auto brand since 1996, when it was first introduced at the Mondial de líAutomobile (the Paris Motor Show). Looking to service a CitroŽn Berlingo? You can get the CitroŽn Berlingo service manual PDF from eManualOnline.

First built after the CitroŽn ZX family sedan sold between 1991 and 1998, the Berlingo soon gained traction as a great choice for buyers seeking adequate cargo space in an aerodynamic design - not an easy combination of features to find in a panel van. It shares the ZXís roomy floorplan and slim front. Thereís plenty of room in a Berlingo for passengers to lounge around on road trips and keep their cargo close by, but not at the expense of it being difficult to drive or maneuver. For a passenger van, its sleek design sets it apart.

Its unique model was a hit, and the Berlingo sold over 147,600 units in France its first year alone. By 2012, over 2,500,000 units had been manufactured.

Because the Berlingo is available in both panel and passenger versions, itís a great choice for busy families and trippers alike. Itís also available in both CNG (Compress Natural Gas) or electric versions, making it a good choice for roadies looking to get away from traditional gasoline, petrol, or diesel fuels. The electric engine boasts 49 kW power with 66 horsepower and 200 N-m torque and a no-emissions design, while the traditional petrol engine works at 66 kW with 89 hp and 132 N-m torque for a bit more power. All engines found on Berlingos are four-cylinders for ease of maintenance.

Other beloved variants of the Berlingo include the Berlingo XL, a premium and extra-roomy version of the panel van. Itís also been reinvented into derivative models under a partnership with Peugeot, including the Partner and the Rifter. Thereís also been a Berlingo II, the larger and more expensive version of the Berlingo, and the CitroŽn Nemo, which is a compact and economical restyle.

As a van thatís meant to carry people as its first and foremost function, the CitroŽn Berlingo works best with regular maintenance. Keeping a copy of the CitroŽn Berlingo workshop manual on hand can be a lifesaver in the event of a breakdown, so make sure you keep an extra copy in the glove compartment.
