One of the most successful cars in Buickís history is none other than the LeSabre. With a lifespan of over 45 years, the model was consistently a best seller, lasting eight generations of manufacturing. Itís earlier models were quite iconic, making the Buick LeSabre one of the more fabled models of the brand. For a car with such a rich history of success, itís no surprise owners will turn to a Buick LeSabre repair manual in case of emergencies. Itís tough to find something you like, but owners know once they drive their LeSabre.

The LeSabre lasted eight generations, sticking true to a fairly similar style until the fifth generation, when the LeSabre began to get smaller. The LeSabre was a replacement of the Special model, becoming Buickís primary budget vehicle in 1959. It consistently sold very well, with earlier models well known for their powerful rear-wheel drive and sporty design. Later models were reliable and well-priced for the quality, keeping the model popular through the entire life cycle.

Any LeSabres made after 1986 are of sixth generation and newer, differing from older models by being significantly smaller. This was partially a reflection of the switch to front wheel drive, and swapping out the V8 engine for a lighter, smaller V6 engine. The V6 engines compromised power in exchange for being lighter and offering better fuel efficiency.

Owners driving a LeSabre with a V6 engine would benefit greatly from the use of a DIY Buick LeSabre service manual. Because of how reliable and consistent new LeSabres are, the only thing you need to do keep them running strong is routine maintenance. This can easily be done yourself if you follow detailed instructions, saving you money and the hassle of a trip to a service center.

The LeSabre continued to sell well until 2005, when it ultimately was discontinued. The consistency in quality and usability were matched by none, indicated by it still being one of Buickís best selling vehicles at the end of the life cycle. The LeSabre was replaced by the Buick Lucerne, which then became the premier vehicle of Buick.

If you own a LeSabre, then you understand what it means to show up every single day, doing your job right. A LeSabre isnít going to let you down and leave you stranded. LeSabres are exceptionally reliable, and they deserve a little bit of care every now and then.
